GAME DAY PROCESS AND RULES

SIDELINE  RULES

All players must wear a face mask when they arrive and leave the location, on the sideline, when helmets off, and practice 6 feet apart distancing. 

Only two spectators per Player are allowed but must stand/sit in designated areas, 30 feet from the sideline at all times, and must follow physical distancing guidelines.

Players and coaches are required to space themselves and personal items (bags, water bottles, etc.) at a safe distance (6 feet) from others. 

Handling of shared equipment: Hand sanitizer mandatory, Clorox Bleach Wipes for wipe down the ball or other equipment. Each team is responsible for sanitizing footballs between possessions.

Participating players should retrieve footballs landing outside the field of play. No spectators or opposing team members should retrieve the ball.

No handshakes or fist bumps. Players may bow or hold helmets over their heads to show good sportsmanship.

Coaches are required to communicate to parents and players their Team Sideline rules and the League Rules. Teams are responsible for adherence to regulations.  

Penalties for rule violation: First Offense 5 yards, 3rd Offense Forfeit. 

DURING THE GAME

Only players and official team staff will be allowed in the sidelines box. All other spectators, friends, and family must remain at least fifty feet from the sidelines or in the bleachers if applicable. 

All players will have their temperature recorded by a coach or assistant using the remote thermometer. Players with a temperature above 99.6 will be sent home. 

Coaches must have hand sanitizer readily available in the sideline box. 

One staff member on each team is responsible for wiping down the football with hand sanitizer at regular intervals. 

All players and staff within the sidelines box must always wear masks or keep their helmets. 

All officials must wear masks for the duration of the game. 

Officials will enforce this dead ball foul: “Failure of sidelines person to wear a mask properly.”
First offenses: warning
Second offense: 5-yard penalty on next play
Third offense and after a 15-yard penalty on the next play
